Women’s Lacrosse Drops Home Opener to Towson, 14-8

The teams alternated goals for the first 18 minutes, with both of Paris’ goals coming during that stretch, but with the score tied at 3-3, Towson rattled off six straight goals over the final 10:39 of the first half to take a 9-3 lead into the locker room.

The Retrievers return to action on Friday, March 6, when they host Holy Cross at 4 p.m. at UMBC Stadium. The contest is part of a UMBC lacrosse Games for a Cause doubleheader, as the Retrievers will wear pink uniforms as part of Under Armour’s Power in Pink initiative to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
