Women’s Lacrosse Announces Fall Schedule

BALTIMORE—UMBC head women’s lacrosse coach Courtney Connor has announced the Retrievers’ fall schedule, which consists of seven events, including two tournaments and an alumni game.

The team kicks off its fall play on Saturday, Sept. 15, when the Retrievers host Connor’s former team, Mount St. Mary’s, in a scrimmage at 11 a.m. A week later, UMBC will head north for the University of Delaware Tournament on Sept. 22.

The Retrievers host a Round Robin on Sept. 29 and take on Connor’s alma mater, the University of Maryland, at 12:30 p.m. and the University of Richmond at 3:30 p.m. The team then welcomes Keio University, a squad from Japan, to UMBC on Thursday, Oct. 4, at 4 p.m. before traveling to the Naval Academy for a scrimmage on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 5 p.m.

On Sunday, Oct. 14, the Retrievers host the UMBC True Grit Tournament, which will feature George Washington University, Drexel University, Robert Morris University and American University.

UMBC’s fall schedule concludes with an alumni game at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19, as part of Homecoming weekend.
