WOMEN'S LACROSSE INKS FOUR NEW RECRUITS

Baltimore, MD-- Head Coach Monica Yeakel announced the signing today of four recruits for the 2002-2003 school year. Three of the four are midfielders, including Ashley Wilson, Kelly Fiorani and Jennifer Kasper, while the fourth is a defender, Erin Lynn.Wilson, a native of Aberdeen, MD, went to Aberdeen High School where she won the Most Valuable Player award for her team in 2001. She was also an All-County Honorable Mention selection that year.Fiorani attended Liberty High School in Sykesville, MD where she was a star on the lacrosse field. The Retriever coaches noticed her outstanding play when she played in the National Tournament for a Mid-Atlantic team.Kasper earned First Team All-County honors in both 2000 and 2001 for her superb play in the midfield. She is a native of Eldersburg, MD where she attended South Caroll High School.Lynn, the lone defender, is the only out-of-state recruit among the bunch. She is from Baldwinsville, NY, where she attended Charles W. Baker High School. Her accolades include playing in the New York State Empire Tournament, the All Star Express Tournament and the Brine Upstate Summer League. Current Retriever freshman Jocena Venditti is also a native of Baldwinsville.
