Baltimore, Md. - UMBC (3-9) lost their final non-conference game of the year in their first game on the new UMBC Turf as
UMBC was led by Kelly Fiorani, who scored four goals in the game and added an assist for five points. Fiorani led the UMBC charge to open the second half, scoring all-three of UMBC’s opening goals in the second period to close the lead to 6-5 by the 20 minute mark.
The Bobcats’ Julie Roguski responded with a goal at 19:36 to move
Kelly Fahey and Anna Jacobs added UMBC’s other two goals in the game. Kristina Raab made six saves for the Retrievers.
