RETRIEVER WOMEN’S LACROSSE HOSTS JAPANESE NATIONAL TEAM OCT. 23, ALUMNI GAME SET FOR OCT. 25

Baltimore, Md. – The UMBC women’s lacrosse team is slated to host the Japanese National Team this Thursday, Oct. 23 at 4 p.m. The Retrievers wrap up their fall season two days later when they hold their annual Alumni Game on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 11 a.m.
The Retrievers, who last spring captured the NEC crown and played in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, continue to gear up for the 2004 campaign in the America East Conference. The Retrievers have already had strong showings at their home invitational and the Genesee Valley Invitational this fall.
The Alumni Game coincides with the men’s lacrosse Alumni Game as a number of former Retrievers return to take on the 2004 squad.
