RETRIEVERS’ WOMEN’S LAX SET TO PLAY AT GENESEE VALLEY INVITATIONAL SATURDAY

The UMBC Women’s lacrosse team continues tuning up for their 2004 debut in the America East Conference with fall ball competition at the Genesee Valley Tournament this Saturday, October 11.  The Retrievers, an NCAA Tournament participant last season, will have some competitive competition at the tournament this weekend with Johns Hopkins, Mount St. Mary’s, Towson and Salisbury joining UMBC. 

A tentative schedule has the Retrievers opening play at 9 a.m. with Salisbury, playing at 10 a.m. against Towson, taking on John's Hopkins at noon and finishing with Mount St. Mary's at 1 p.m.  All games will be 50 minutes with 25 minute halves and a five minute halftime.

Directions To Genesee Valley:  

Take I83 North to exit 31 Middletown Road. Go west on Middletown Road approx. 2 miles to Rayville Road. Turn left onto Rayville Road (at Wally's Country Store). Go approximately 1/2 mile to the Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center on your right.
