BACKGROUND: Earned All-Conference honors as a senior… Received the Long Island Elite Yellow Jackets Award in 2008… Earned the Farmingdale High School Coaches Award in 2009… Received a Nassau Legislature Citation… A three-time New York State Scholar Athlete… Scored 15 goals and tallied nine assists as a member of the IFWLA World Cup U-17 team, which was undefeated in the tournament… Led the Dalers to four straight Long Island Class A titles and four straight Nassau County Class A crowns, as well as a New York state title and a No. 1 ranking in the country in 2009… Farmingdale was also state runners-up in 2007 and 2008… Also lettered in soccer and track and field in high school… Chose UMBC over Robert Morris, Adelphi, Albany and Hofstra… Daughter of Richard and Barbara Buczkowski… Has two older sisters, Marin and Kristy… Marin played lacrosse at Marist… Born May 16, 1991… A history major who hopes to become a teacher.
