Background: The 2008 All-Area Player of the Year from Walkersville High School… An All-MVAL First Team pick as a junior and senior… The Lions’ Most Valuable Player in 2008… A First-Team All-Galaxy selection in 2007… A 2007 and 2008 US Lacrosse Academic All-American… Walkersville’s Female Student-Athlete of the Year in 2008… Helped lead the Lions to the regional championship in 2006 and 2007… An all-around athlete who also competed in indoor track and field, swimming and diving and volleyball… A state qualifier in the 60-meter hurdles in 2008 and diving in 2006… A member of the National Honor Society… Daughter of Mark and Jennifer Snyder… Father played soccer at Navy… Has two older sisters, Brittany and Alexsandra, and a younger brother, Steven… Brittany played lacrosse at Mercyhurst College… Kristen Nicole Snyder was born Nov. 29, 1990… A biology major who hopes to pursue a career in neonatology.
