Carney has also played for the U.S. National Team since 1997, and she helped lead the squad to the 2001 world championship and the silver medal at the 2005 World Cup. She was also a member of the 2005 All-World Team.
“To get a coach the caliber of Quinn into our program speaks volumes,” Connor said. “She’s been involved in coaching for the past six years, and she’s been an integral part of the growth of lacrosse, especially on the west coast. She is one of the top players in the world currently, and I know that the team will flourish under her knowledge.
