Background: Named honorable mention All-Galaxy in 2004… A varsity team captain at Westminster High School in 2006… Selected to the All-Carroll County defensive second team and All-Chesapeake Conference defensive first team in 2006… Helped lead the Owls to the regional championship all four years of high school and to the state championships once… Also lettered in field hockey at Westminster and was a two-time first-team all-county selection… Daughter of John and Lee Ann Jancuska… Father played baseball at the University of Delaware and is UMBC’s head baseball coach… Has a younger sister, Beth Jancuska, and an older sister, Devon Vacca… Born Dec. 21, 1987… Majoring in America studies.
