Background: Was a junior college all-region selection in 2005… named second-team coaches all-county by the Maryland Gazette in 2003… Also lettered in basketball and soccer and was a second-team all-county selection in basketball by the Maryland Gazette in 2003… Daughter of John and Anne Spinnenweber… Is the second of five children… Has three brothers, John, Stephen and Andrew, and a sister, Amanda… Comes from an athletic family, as her father played basketball at the University of Baltimore, her brother John played baseball at St. Mary’s College and her sister Amanda is a high school all-American who has committed to play at Maryland in the fall of 2006… Born May 10, 1985… An American studies major with a certificate in communications and media studies… Hopes to work in the media.
