On Wilkin: Coming off a knee injury that may keep her out at the start of the season…expected to contribute immediately once she returns.

2005: Played in 14 games for the Retrievers, starting three… Posted two points on one goal and one assist… Collected eight ground balls, caused three turnovers and won one draw control on the season… Scored her only goal of the season in UMBC’s loss to New Hampshire.

Background: A member of the SAC all-conference first team in 2004 while at Lees-McRae College… Received all-American and first-team all-conference honors as a senior in high school… Also received second-team honors in 2001 and all-conference honorable mention in 2000… Was a member of the National Art Honor Society and Students Against Drunk Driving… Also lettered in cross country, swimming and soccer in high school… Daughter of Gayle and Jeff Crawford and Andrew Wilkin… Has three sisters, Jennifer, Liesl and Laura, and two brothers, Patrick and Christopher… Born April 8, 1985… Majoring in financial economics.
