2004: One of three captains on this year’s squad… Saw action in 14 games last season and scored six goals, with three of them coming in the 18-6 win over America East rival Binghamton… Had a one-goal, one-assist performance against her sister’s Stony Brook team… Also posted two assists and picked up five ground balls.

BACKGROUND: Led her team to the 2000 New York state championships and was voted MVP for the game… Was a Second Team All-League and Second Team Honorable Mention that same year… A member of the New York State National Team in 1999 and 2000… A recipient of the New York State High School Athletic Association Academic Award every year from 1999-2001… Was also a decorated soccer player at Baldwinsville… Also considered George Mason, James Madison, and Hofstra, but chose UMBC because of "academics, the area, team, but most of all, the coach"… Daughter of Anthony and Linda Venditti… Sister, Andrea, plays for conference rival Stony Brook… Born on April 15, 1983… Majoring in Information Systems.
