BACKGROUND: Led her team to the 2000 New York state championships and was voted MVP for the game… Was a Second Team All-League and Second Team Honorable Mention that same year… A member of the New York State National Team in 1999 and 2000… A recipient of the New York State High School Athletic Association Academic Award every year from 1999-2001… Was also a decorated soccer player at Baldwinsville HS… Also considered George Mason, James Madison, and Hofstra, but chose UMBC because of "academics, the area, team, but most of all, the coach"… Daughter of Anthony and Linda Venditti… Sister plays for conference rival Stony Brook… Born on April 15, 1983… Majoring in Information Systems.
