2002: Red-shirted due to a foot injury.
BACKGROUND: Lettered in five sports at Mount de Sales Academy, including soccer, swimming, indoor, and outdoor track… Was her school's Athlete of the Year as a senior… For lacrosse, she received Second Team All-Conference honors as a senior, and the Most Improved award during both her sophomore and junior years… Received First Team All-Conference honors for soccer as a junior and Second Team Baltimore Sun All-City/County as a senior... Was voted her swim and indoor track teams' Unsung Hero… Also considered Virginia Tech and Connecticut, but chose UMBC for "its excellent Biology program and the family atmosphere that the lacrosse team provided"… Daughter of Jim and Sue Libertini… Sister Laura plays lacrosse for the University of Delaware… Born on May 10, 1983… Majoring in Biology.
