Midday Madness Invades RAC Arena Wednesday, Jan. 21, When Women’s Basketball Hosts Albany

BALTIMORE—UMBC will hold its fourth annual Midday Madness on Wednesday, Jan. 21, when the women’s basketball team hosts America East rival Albany for a 12 p.m. tip-off from the RAC Arena. The Retrievers will welcome more than 800 local elementary and middle school students for the game. Admission is free to all fans.
A popular and fun-filled afternoon since its inception in 2006, Midday Madness has averaged 1,150 fans in its first three years, including a RAC women’s basketball record crowd of 1,312 in its inaugural year.
