UMBC ANNOUNCES TWO PLAYERS DEPARTURE FROM WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM

Baltimore, Md. – The UMBC women’s basketball team announced today they have honored the request of student-athletes Betsy Butterick and Katie Tedder to be released from all responsibilities relating to the women’s basketball program effective immediately. Both players, who were in their first year with the Retrievers after transferring in from two-year colleges, have decided to withdraw from school.
