NOTES: Will serve as a captain during the 2012-13 season... Saw an increase in action during junior campaign, appearing in 28 games and seeing the first five starts of her career… Recorded a career-high seven points in 31 minutes at Towson.

AS A JUNIOR (2011-12): Appeared in 28 games, making five starts… Nearly quadrupled playing time from the first two seasons combined (66 minutes), logging 248 minutes… Recorded four-straight starts (Princeton, UMES, George Mason and Hampton)… Made first career start at home against Princeton (Dec. 3), scoring a career-high nine rebounds in 39 minutes of action… Tallied a career-high seven points, to go with six rebounds and two steals in 31 minutes at Towson on Nov. 27… A member of the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2010-11): Saw action in 12 games on the season, including four America East contests… Played 14 minutes on the season… Played one minute in the America East semifinals against Hartford (March 6), her first action since Feb. 2 at Binghamton… Scored her first point of the season on a free throw and also matched her season high with two rebounds against the Hawks… Blocked a shot against Brown (Nov. 28)… Pulled down two rebounds at George Mason (Nov. 23)… Recorded a steal in her season debut at UMES (Nov. 14)… Recognized on the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

 

AS A FRESHMAN (2009-10): Saw action in 12 games during her rookie campaign, including five against America East Conference opponents… Made both free throw attempts and grabbed a rebound at Stony Brook (Feb. 27)… Sank a field goal in back-to-back games against Stony Brook and at Hartford (Jan. 28-Feb. 2)… Played for the first time in nine games and scored a season-high four points with her first career 3-pointer and free throw against Vermont (Jan. 21)… Scored her first career points on a field goal at West Virginia (Dec. 22)… Made her collegiate debut against UMES and grabbed three rebounds while recording an assist and a steal in 13 minutes of action (Nov. 15)... Recognized on the America East Honor Roll.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Finished her career as Hanover’s all-time assists leader and second-leading rebounder… Averaged 11 points, eight rebounds and four assists per game during her high school career… Earned Second Team All-District and All-Academic Team honors all four years… Coaches’ Award recipient as a freshman… Served as team captain as a senior… Named one of the top 50 seniors in Virginia by Virginia Preps Tallied 18 points, five assists and eight rebounds against the seventh-ranked team in the state in the regional quarterfinals… Played guard her first three seasons and power forward during her last year… Led the Hawks to four straight regional appearances… Also lettered in volleyball and track and field at Hanover… An honor roll student and a student council officer.

 

PERSONAL: The youngest of three daughters to Debbie Browning… Has two older sisters, Tricia Snead and Tiffany Browning… Chose UMBC over St. Francis, Georgia Southern and Florida Atlantic… Born Feb. 5, 1991… An international relations major who hopes to work for the CIA or to help communities in underdeveloped countries.
