AS A SOPHOMORE (2009-10): Averaged 6.2 points and 4.0 rebounds per game… Ranked third on the team with 26 three-pointers made, tied for the ninth-most ever by a Retriever sophomore… Scored 11 points and added eight rebounds in the season opener against Virginia (Nov. 13)… Scored 13 points on 6-of-7 shooting against UMES (Nov. 15)… Her .857 shooting percentage against the Hawks was a team best on the season… Scored a team-high 16 points and drained a career-best four of six 3-pointers at Towson (Nov. 24)… Averaged 11.6 ppg and shot 45.1 percent (21-for-40) in five November contests… Missed two games with symptoms of a concussion… Returned to the lineup to score 11 points on three 3-pointers and added seven rebounds at Coppin State (Dec. 12)… Made 10 triples in her first six games… Averaged just 3.7 ppg on 32.1 percent shooting in six contests from Dec. 20-Jan. 6 before breaking out of her slump with 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including three triples at Maine (Jan. 10), her first double-digit scoring effort since Dec. 12… Added seven rebounds against the Black Bears… Scored 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting with two 3-pointers and grabbed seven boards at Albany (Jan. 13)… Posted her first double-double of the season with 11 points and a season-high 10 rebounds to go along with three assists in 39 minutes at Stony Brook, making her first start since Jan. 21 (Feb. 27)… Scored in double figures eight times on the season, including five of the first six games… Led the Retrievers in scoring three times… Recognized on the America East Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time Washington Post All-Metro Honorable Mention and All-Gazette First-Team selection as a junior and senior… Also earned All-Gazette Second-Team honors as a sophomore and Honorable Mention as a freshman… Led her team to the regional title and the state semifinals as a junior… Averaged 18.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game as a senior to lead the Vikings… Also led her team in scoring (14.6 ppg) and rebounding (7.2 rpg) as a junior… Scored more than 1,000 points in her high school career… The Vikings were 50 games over .500 in her four-year career.

PERSONAL: The third of four children to Colleen and Rick Brown… Has an older brother, Greg, an older sister, Kathleen, and a younger brother, Richard… Kathleen was an All-Conference basketball player at Marymount University… Chose UMBC over George Mason, Long Island and Marymount because of its location, coaching staff and reputation in academics… Born Sept. 21, 1989… A pre-physical therapy major.
