AS A JUNIOR (2006-07): Began the first six games on the bench but started 22 straight before coming in off the bench in the regular-season finale to allow senior Heather Luttrell to start on Senior Night… Played in all 33 games with 26 starts… Ranked second in the America East in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.64), ninth with 4.03 defensive rebounds per game and 20th with 2.18 apg… In conference games, ranked second with a 1.77 assist-to-turnover ratio, second with 4.81 defensive rebounds per game, 15th with 2.44 apg and 16th with 5.3 rpg… Led the team with a .442 shooting percentage (61-for-138), and shot 32.9 percent (23-for-70) from 3-point range… Her 23 3-pointers rank eighth all-time among Retriever juniors, and her 70 3-point attempts rank ninth… Averaged 4.4 rpg on the season, second-best on the team… Her 72 assists and eight blocks ranked third, 38 steals fourth and 4.7 ppg fifth… Earned her first start of the season at Fairleigh Dickinson (Dec. 2) and scored a then-season-high nine points on 4-for-8 shooting in 26 minutes… Also tied a then-career high with five rebounds and four assists and set a new career best with four steals against the Knights… Set new career bests in points (12), field goals (5) and rebounds (6) in 32 minutes at Longwood (Dec. 9)… Tied a career high with four assists at Rider (Dec. 19) and also recorded four rebounds, eight points and her first block of the season... Did not score against Boston University (Jan. 4) but grabbed a team- and career-best eight rebounds... Tied a career high with four steals at Albany (Jan. 10)... Scored eight points, pulled down a career-high nine rebounds, dished out a career-best six assists and recorded three steals at Binghamton (Feb. 14)... Scored five points and dished out a career-high seven assists in 37 minutes against New Hampshire (Feb. 17)… Averaged 7.0 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 3.4 apg during a six-game stretch from Feb. 7-24… Drilled a 3-pointer just before the shot clock expired with 6:06 remaining in the finals of the America East Tournament… The basket proved to be UMBC’s last points of the game… Averaged 5.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists with three blocks and three steals in three America East Tournament contests… Did not score but pulled down four rebounds and added two assists and two steals in 34 minutes against top-seeded Connecticut in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2005-06): Played in 26 games with five starts… Moved into the starting rotation at Navy and started four straight games… Also started at home against Albany… Recorded a strong start to the season, scoring nine points with five rebounds in the opener against Morgan State… Her nine points came on three 3-point baskets, setting a career high… Scored in double figures twice on the year with 10 points each against Lafayette and IPFW… Scored nine points off the bench at Hartford and Vermont on 4-for-6 shooting in both games… Averaged 3.4 points per game and shot 48.7 percent from the field… Dished out 1.1 assists per game and corralled 1.4 rebounds per game.
AS A FRESHMAN (2004-05): Started the first five games of the season and six on the year… Played in 21 games during her rookie campaign… Shined in her debut with 11 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals against Coppin State… Moved into a utility role after the fifth game of the season, with her only other start at Binghamton in the Retrievers’ 50-46 win… Scored nine points in back-to-back games against American and Drexel… Grabbed a season-high five rebounds to go with seven points at Albany… Shot 30.1 percent (28-for-93) from the floor and was 10-for-51 from three-point range… Averaged 3.6 ppg, 1.8 rpg and 1.5 apg with a 2.0 assist-to-turnover ratio.
HIGH SCHOOL: Hit the 1,000-point plateau her senior year at Winston Churchill High School, averaging 16 points, seven rebounds and six assists per game that season… Earned All-County and Honorable Mention All-Metro by the Washington Post as a senior… Named team MVP that year, as well… Led the Bulldogs to back-to-back Maryland 4A state titles in 2001-02 and 2002-03… Recorded a career-high 28 points in a game as a junior, when she was named Honorable Mention All-Metro by the Washington Post… Earned team co-MVP as a sophomore and junior… Averaged 13.3 points per game on 49.3 percent shooting and grabbed 6.8 boards per games during her junior campaign… Also added 3.3 steals and 3.1 assists per game en route to being named to the Montgomery Journal All-County team and labeled “the county’s most skilled and versatile player.”
PERSONAL: The youngest of three children to Lauren and Frank Hatten… Has two older brothers, Ben and Kyle… Ben was a four-year member of the tennis team at Notre Dame… Born March 14, 1986… An American studies major.
