HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time All-North Jersey Interscholastic League first team selection… Named Montclair High School team MVP as a senior… Finished her outstanding career at Montclair with 1,165 points… Averaged 18 points and eight rebounds as a senior… Chosen to play in the NJSIAA/New Jersey State Coaches Association Senior All-Star Game… Selected to the All-Essex County second team as a junior, when she averaged 15.4 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.4 steals per game… Led her team to the Group IV North title as a sophomore, when she averaged a double-double with 10.9 points and 10.3 rebounds per game… Named MVP of the NJSIAA Tournament in 2005… Also a volleyball standout at Montclair, earning All-League honors twice and the team MVP award three times… A two-year captain of both the basketball and volleyball teams… A member of the National Honor Society, the National Spanish Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars… Won the New Jersey Athlete Award and was named a Montclair High School Scholar Athlete and an Edward J. Blounstein Distinguished Scholar.
