GREENSBORO, N.C.—The UMBC men’s track and field team completed its 2009 outdoor season at the NCAA East Regional Championships Friday and Saturday in Greensboro, N.C.

The 4x100-meter relay team of juniors Mohamed Koroma (Mitchelville, Md./C.H. Flowers/Morgan State), Adrian Arthur (Bowie, Md./Bowie), Jason Powell (Bowie, Md./Eleanor Roosevelt) and Antonio Thomas (Columbia, Md./Long Reach) placed 12th in 40.92.

Thomas placed 24th in the 200-meter dash in 21.59, while Arthur finished 26th in the 100-meter dash in 10.74. Junior Victor Gilreath (Catonsville, Md./Western Tech/Maryland) placed 23rd in the triple jump with a leap of 14.88m.
