2008 Cross Country: Finished 32th in the 8K run in 26:56.5 at the America East Championships… Placed 101st in the 8K run at the Princeton Invitational… Finished 15th in the 8K run at the Towson Invitational… Placed 71st in the 8K run in 27:49.4 at the Navy Invitational… Started the season with a 32nd-place finish at the Mount St. Mary’s 5K Duals.

2008 Outdoor: Placed 13th in the 5000-meter run at the America East Championships.

2007-07 Indoor: Finished 9th in the 5000-meter and 11th in the 3000-meter runs at the America East Championships… Finished fifth in the 5000-meter run at the Penn State National Invitational… Placed 10th in the 3000-meter run at the Terrapin Invitational… Finished fifth in the one-mile run at the Gulden Relays.

Background: A 12-time letterwinner in the sports of cross country, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field at Bethesda-Chevy Chase H.S. in Bethesda, Md…. A two-time Jesse Owens Athletic Award recipient (2006 and 2007) and the Maryland Class 3A Cross Country state champion in 2006… Finished fifth in the 3200-meter run at the 2007 Indoor State Championships and third in the same event at the 2007 Montgomery County Outdoor Track and Field Championships… Also finished third in the 3200 at the state meet and was part of the second place 4 x 800m relay en route to a third place team finish… A 2004 Junior Olympic National competitor.
