Entering the 2007-08 season, Puryear has won 415 matches as a collegiate tennis coach, owns a 58.5 winning percentage and has earned nine conference Coach of the Year honors in the past decade. His menís teams have appeared in five NCAA Tournaments (2000-2003, 2007), while the women have also made five trips (1999-2003) to NCAA competition.
