UMBC WOMEN SPLIT MATCHES AT CORNELL QUAD

Ithaca, NY--The UMBC women's tennis team battled Cornell, Binghamton, and illness, in splitting a pair of matches at the Cornell Quad in Ithaca, NY, this weekend. UMBC, minus #2 Jana Karaskova, defeated Binghamton, 5-2, but fell to Cornell, 7-0. The Cornell match was tighter than the score indicated, as UMBC captured #1 doubles, and lost #2, 9-7.
