MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TENNIS ADVANCE TO AMERICA EAST SEMI-FINALS WITH SHUTOUTS IN OPENING ROUND PLAY

New Haven, CT—Both the UMBC men’s and women’s tennis teams advanced to the America East semi-finals with wins in this afternoon’s play. The #3-seeded women blanked #6 Albany, 6-0, while the third-seeded men shut out #6, New Hampshire, 4-0. Both teams advance to Saturday’s semi-finals, where the women take on #2 Binghamton (3pm) and men battle #2 Stony Brook (noon).
