MEN'S TENNIS PLACES THIRD AT TOWSON FALL INVITATIONAL

The Retriever men's tennis team earned third place by winning three of four matches at the Towson University Fall Invitational held on October 3 and 4.
UMBC recorded 5-0 shutout wins over Loyola and Mt. St. Mary's in pool play, but lost, 3-2, to Delaware. The Retrievers edged Villanova, 3-2 in the third place match. Top seed Josef Novotny did not compete in singles play this weekend.
