Background: A very highly-ranked junior player on the regional and national level… Earned a No. 1 ranking in the New England 12’s, 14’s and 16’s and was later ranked as high as No. 6 in Florida for 16’s… Climbed to as high as No. 17 nationally in Boys’ 16’s… Competed on Florida inter-sectionals’ team and in all four super-national competitions… Helped his American Heritage team to a Florida state title, clinching the crown on the first day of a three-day event… Has practiced with nationally-ranked pros such as Sebastian Grosjean and Ivo Karkovic… Also lettered in track and field, specializing in the long jump… A fan of the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers… Older sister Nancy competed in tennis at Regis (Mass.)
