2006-07: Returned to the team after a two-year absense to concentrate on his academic work... won four of seven singles matches in the fall and three of five doubles matches... went 2-1 in the Bucknell Quads and advanced to the round of sixteen at Hampton Woods Collegiate Invitational... gives the team strong depth this spring.
Background: Attending UMBC on an academic scholarship... won the Montgomery County Championships in both 2001 and 2002 at #4 singles... reached the finals at #2 doubles and won the Maryland state doubles tournament in the spring of 2002... he accomplished that feat as an unseeded player... led the Patriots to an upset over seven-time defending champion Churchill to win the 2001 county title... was the team captain in his senior season.. enjoys basketball... brother, Bernard also competed in high school tennis... son of Linda and Kin Ng... born Oct. 8, 1984.
