Background: Joins a developing line of Canadians to compete in tennis at UMBC…was the provincial champion of Manitoba in both 2003 and 2005…also earned titles at the under-18 Junior National Selection and San Diego U-18 tournaments…also competed in basketball, volleyball, golf, and track and field…considered schools such as UNC Charlotte, Hawaii, and Long Beach State, but selected UMBC because of the “academics, coach, team, and campus”…lists favorite player as 2005 US Open Champion Kim Clijsters…is considering a major in Psychology and would like to become a doctor…has an older brother, Eric, 21…daughter of Sun and Lai-Kuen Woo…born July 7, 1987.
