Background: One of two natives of Arizona to compete for UMBC (Adewumi)…an outstanding doubles player who won the Sonoran Region Women’s Doubles competitions in 2003-05…qualified for state championships in each year of high school (2002-05), leading her University HS team to the state finals in all four years…served as the team captain for the Rangers in her junior and senior seasons…a member of the National Spanish Honors Society…considered attending Arizona State, but chose UMBC “because it has a nice, small feel, friendly people and great girls on the team”…considering a major in Political Science and would like to be involved in politics at the local level…born March 5, 1987.
