Suffered a torn ACL in last year’s America East Championships and will likely not compete in her senior season.
2004-05: Compiled a 9-4 doubles record at #3 doubles and posted a winning record (6-5) at #6 singles as well.
2003-2004: Demonstrated outstanding strokes in her freshman season--just must improve her fitness level to become a steady contributor...posted a mark of 3-2 in doubles work last season and was 1-1 in singles.
Background: A mid-year transfer from Tedankara College in Ankara, Turkey…won the Ankara Championships at age 12, 14, 16, and 18, and place fourth in Turkey’s national championships at age 14 and 16…is also an accomplished ice skater…goes by the nickname of “Lily”…former doubles partner of current Illinois-Chicago standout Ayca Gumuscu…lists favorite movie as Gladiator…daughter of Handan and Erol Un…born July 6, 1982.
