Entered UMBC at the semester break and is eligible to this spring…was a qualifier for the “Copa Colsanitas” WTA Tournament…has been a nationally ranked player in Columbia at both the 16- and under (third) and 18-and under (first) groups…is expected to competed for a slot in the starting lineup this spring…selected UMBC “because I liked the team, the campus, the academics, and the location”…is considering a major in Financial Economics…enjoys going out with friends, listening to music, and dining on Italian food…has a younger sister, Marcela, 14…daughter of Ligia Villareal and Rafael Enrique Fonseca…born July 7, 1986.
