Recorded his 50th UMBC singles victory (50-18) in the NEC title match last season...he is one of the winningest players in school history with 82 combined victories...his 2002 fall season was highlighted by a run to the quarter-finals at the East Coast Championships...earned All League honors for the third straight year, this time at #2 singles... also was named All NEC at #2 doubles...was 2-1 at #1 singles last season, including an impressive three-set win vs. U. Conn’s Mike Furman...won ten of his last 14 singles matchs last season...a back-to-back All NEC performer in both singles and doubles…as a sophomore, he won 20 matches overall (20-5) and NEC crowns at #3 singles and #2 doubles (with Luis Baraldi)…won in the conference title match, 6-1, 6-2 vs. FDU…played a team-high six three-set or third set tie-break matches, winning four…put together a brilliant freshman campaign, winning 14 of 16 singles matches and 10 of 12 in doubles…named All Northeast Conference at #2 singles, where he was 13-2…combined with Luis Baraldi at #3 doubles to go 9-2 and earn All League honors at that position…won both his three-set singles matches vs. George Mason and Georgetown…recorded one of UMBC's two singles wins vs. both Navy and Colgate…
