Outstanding local product who was ranked #3 in the state of Maryland in 2002 and #234 in the USTA national rankings…as an unseeded player, he won five matches to capture the 2002 Maryland State Junior Outdoor Championships in Boys’ 18 Singles…also won the 2003 MCTA Banana Open singles title…a member of Team Maryland in 1998 and 2000…was named to Montgomery Gazette Boys Team in 2001-03…led his Springbrook HS team to the 2003 Division II championship…selected UMBC over such programs as Maryland, Penn State and American because of “nice environment and people, a good-sized campus for me, a good tennis coach and a very good friend of mine goes to UMBC”…is considering a major in Political Science and would like to enter the field of law…patterns his game after Andre Agassi…a fan of The Simpsons television show…son of Lina Pizarro and Arde Iranshad…born July 25, 1985.
