Poll
Men's Soccer was picked third in the America East preseason poll. How do you think they will fare in 2010?
They will exceed expectations and capture a regular season and/or tournament title.
Meet expectations; earn a playoff spot, but not have the juice to win a championship.
The league could "stand on its head" again this year, but the lower ranked teams rising above the preseason favorites. Retrievers might be in danger of having the bubble burst.

10/28/2008

Junior Lindsay Sherman won five golds over the weekend.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.Junior Lindsay Sherman (Bethany, Conn./Amity) has been named America East Female Swimmer of the Week for the week ending Oct. 26, as announced by the conference Tuesday.

Sherman was the driving force for the Retrievers this weekend, earning five golds between two days of competition, including all three of her individual events.  In her team’s 136-105 loss to Navy, Sherman won the only individual event of the day in the 200-meter fly (2:19.91) while swimming a leg of the first-place 400-meter medley relay team.  On Sunday, Sherman continued to shine against conference rivals New Hampshire, sweeping the 100 and 200 fly with season-best times (57.89 and 2:04.78, respectively), and swimming a leg of the first place 200 medley relay team.     .
