TOM HIMES NAMED AGE GROUP COACH OF THE YEAR FOR MARYLAND SWIMMING

After capping off a successful 2002-03 season, UMBC Assistant Swimming and Diving Coach Tom Himes was named Age Group Coach of the Year for Maryland Swimming. In addition, because of his outstanding work throughout several years of coaching, the organization's directors have chosen to name the prestigious award after Tom Himes himself.
Earlier this year, Himes assisted Cradock in leading the Retriever women to a second consecutive Northeast Conference title, and the UMBC men to their sixth straight ECAC Championship.
