Roseberry Tabbed America East Swimmer of the Week

Evan Roseberry was named America East Swimmer of the Week for the second time in his career.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Senior Evan Roseberry (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) has been named America East Male Swimmer of the Week for the week ending Oct. 26, as announced by the conference Tuesday.

Roseberry won all three of his individual events against Binghamton this weekend, touching first in the 200 fly (1:56.84) and the 500 free (4:44.44) while setting a UMBC season-best time in the 1,000 free (9:42.85).  Roseberry’s dominant performances propelled the Retrievers to a sweep of their conference rivals, 170-125. Roseberry becomes the second male Retriever to win the award, along with senior Justin Bronson (Oshawa, Ontario, Canada/Msgr. Paul Dwyer).
