Bronson Wins America East Male Swimmer of the Week

Senior Justin Bronson swept the 100, 200 and 500 free against Rider.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Senior Justin Bronson (Oshawa, Ontario, Canada/Msgr. Paul Dwyer) has been named America East Male Swimmer of the Week for the week ending Oct. 19, as announced by the conference Tuesday.

Bronson earned gold in all four of his events on Saturday, when the Retrievers defeated Rider, 161-137. Earning three individual golds in the 100 free (47.52), the 200 free (1:42.58) and the 500 free (4:43.49), Bronson also swam as the anchor of the first-place 400 free relay team.  With the victories, the senior has now won four of the five individual events he has competed in this season.
