KATRIN HARRSEN NAMED NEC SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

After leading her team to a split in a tri-meet with East Carolina and George Washington over the weekend, sophomore swimmer Katrin Harrsen was named the Northeast Conference Swimmer of the Week. The native of Malmo, Sweden took first place in the 200 freestyle (1:55.87) as well as two second place finishes in the 100 free (54.50s) and 500 free (5:12.28). Harrsen currently has the fastest time this season in the conference in the 200 free while also carrying the second fastest times in the 500, 1000 and 1650 free events. She, along with her teammates, will be competing in dual meets this weekend with William and Mary and Old Dominion.
