HOLIDAY TRAINING RESULTS AT OCEAN MILE SWIM

On the menís side, the UMBC team of Cliff Schmardel, Ryan Karrer, Jakub Sroczynski, Ian Carey, and Evan Swann came in first place with a total time of 1:49.39, edging out the teams from
For the freshman class, nine UMBC swimmers finished within the top 30, including Dominic Lee at third, Zack Hurd at fifth, and Adam Eiben at seventh. Among the sophomores, seven Retrievers finished within the top 25, including Schmardel, Brian Jaeggi, and Karrer coming in fourth, fifth, and sixth, respectively. In the junior class, Szabo finished first, and Carey came in at third with a time of 22:16. Lastly, in the senior class, Sroczynski finished second at 22:04 and Aaron Schenker came in twelfth at 26:12.
On the womenís side, Agnes Stanislawska finished second among all female swimmers with a time of 22:43, while teammate Jessica Prosen came in fifth with 22:55.
Among the freshmen, seven Retrievers finished within the top 20, led by Rachel Lesslie, who took second place at 23:44. In the sophomore class, Stanislawska was second, while Kristen Moorby came in sixth, and Jesse Rowton was 24th. Among the juniors, Elyse Gibson led UMBC with a fifth-place finish at 24:22, while Prosen led all seniors with a first-place finish at 22:55. Five other Retrievers made the seniorsí top ten.
