On the mens side, UMBC was led by seniors Carlos Canepa (Lima, Peru/Santa Maria) and Brad Green (Philadelphia, Pa./LaSalle College), and junior Jakub Sroczynski (Zielona Gora, Poland/VII Lo). Canepa finished first in both distance freestyle events, while Green took first in both sprint free events, and Sroczynski came in first in the 200 freestyle and 200 backstroke. All three were also a part of the 400 freestyle relay team that narrowly defeated
