SWIMMING AND DIVING TEAMS SWEEP AMERICA EAST FOE BINGHAMTON

VESTAL, N.Y. - In front of a boisterous alumni crowd of more than 200, UMBC broke six pool records and defeated America East opponent Binghamton. The Retrievers won the men's meet, 155-114, and improved to 2-1 on the season, while the women remained undefeated at 3-0 with the 164-124 victory.
UMBC men went 1-2-3 in the 1000 free, 100 back and 200 back, and built a comfortable lead before swimming exhibition for the final relay.
The Retriever women swept the first three places in the 1000 free, 100 back and 500 free.
UMBC will return to action on Saturday, November 15, when they host the Towson men's and women's teams at 1 p.m. at the UMBC Natatorium.
