UMBC’s win was the product of a complete team effort, as they received points from numerous individuals, including seniors Astrid Sperling (Halle, Germany/Halle) and Holly Wittsack (Gaithersburg, Md./Damascus), junior Lindsay Prather (Edgewood, Md./Joppatowne), and freshman Agnieszka Stanislawska (Zielona Gora, Poland/LO VI). Sperling led the way, as she finished first in the 100 and 200 back, as well as the 200 IM. Prather, Wittsack, and Stanislawska each won two events. All four also combined to win the 200 medley relay.
Navy was paced by sophomore Jenn Windstein, who finished first in the 500 and 1000 freestyle, and sophomore diver Shiela Singer, who won both the 1-m and 3-m diving events
