MENS SWIMMING AND DIVING LOSES HEARTBREAKER TO NAVY, 122-121

Baltimore, MD Going into the final event with a 117-109 lead, UMBC (1-1) generated four points in the 400 freestyle relay, while Navy (4-1) claimed 13 points, to secure the 122-121 victory for the Midshipmen this morning at the UMBC Natatorium.
In the meet, Navy captured first place in six of eleven events, including both 1-m and 3-m diving, both sprint free events, and both relays. The Mids were led by diver Kevin Teague, who won both the 1-m and 3-m diving events.
