2012-13: Won a silver medal in the 200-yd. freestyle and a bronze medal in the 100-yd. freestyle as UMBC reclaimed its America East title at the championship meet at Maine… Also placed fourth in the 50-yd. free at the conference meet… Helped UMBC collect to relays gold medals, taking part in the 200 and 400 free relays… Collected five event wins during the dual meet season in which UMBC went undefeated for just the second time in school history… Helped the 400 free relay team break the school record while winning the event at the ECAC Championships… His top 50 free (20.76) and 100 free (45.44) times both came at the ECAC meet, and rank eighth-fastest in school history… He also recorded his fastest 200 free time (1:39.97) at the meet at Harvard which ranks ninth at UMBC.
2011-12: Finished in eighth in the 200-yd. free, tenth in the 50 free and 11th in the 100 free at the America East Championships... Helped the 200 free relay team take second and set a season-best time of 1:23.36 at the Patriot Invitational... Part of three victorious 400 free relay teams during the dual meet season... Swam a career-best 21.28 in the 50 free during the Patriot Invitational prelims... Won the 100 free during the Retrievers' tri-meet with local rivals Loyola and Towson... Named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2010-11: Helped the 200-yard freestyle relay place seventh at the Patriot Invitational... Swam a personal best, and the team's third fastest 50 free (21.31) at the America East Championships... Named to the America East Honor Roll.
Background: Named the Player of the Year for 2009-10 by the Niagara Gazette… Earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors in 2010… Was a two-time New York Section VI 100-yard freestyle champion… Also earned All-American consideration for the 50 and 100 free in 2009.
