2008-09: Won the gold medal in the 200-yard butterfly in a school-record time of 1:59.98 at the America East Championships… Also claimed silver in the 100 fly and placed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle at the conference meet… Part of the school record-breaking 400-yard medley relay team that finished second at the conference championships… Swam career-best times in 500 free (4:55.19) and the 100 fly (55.67) at the America East Championships… Her 100 fly time ranks second all-time at UMBC, while her 500 free time is fifth.

 

Background: Received six All-America accolades at the NCAA Division II Championships for C.W. Post in 2007, earning All-America recognition in the 200 fly and Honorable-Mention in the 100 fly, 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay… Currently holds six individual school records and one relay mark at C.W. Post.

 

Personal: Daughter of Rosemary and Frank Esposito… Has two brothers, Joe and Anthony… Majoring in psychology and hopes to become a psychologist… Born Dec. 7, 1987.
