2008-09: Claimed silver in the 200-yard backstroke and finished sixth in the 100 back and 11th in the 200-yard individual medley at the America East Championships… Placed fourth in the 200 back and fifth in the 100 back at the Patriot Invitational… Claimed five victories during the dual meet season… Swam season-best times in the 100 back (51.57), 200 back (1:49.61) and 200 IM (1:56.14) at the America East Championship… The 200 and 100 back times are third and tenth, respectively, on UMBC’s all-time10 list.

Background: Swam in the USA Swimming Sectionals in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., for Columbia Aquatic Club in 2008… Finished first at the Howard County High School Championships in 2007 for the 200 free relay, 50 back, 100 back and 200 medley relay.
