Background: Attended New Smryna Beach High School in New Smyrna Beach, Fla. where she finished seventh in the 100 freestyle at the Florida High School Swimming and Diving finals in 2007 and finished eighth in the 50 freestyle… Was a District champion in the 100 freestyle in 2007… named Athlete of the Week in 2007 by the Daytona Beach News Journal.
