2007-08: Claimed bronze in the 1650-yard freestyle and finished 11^th in the 500 free and 12^th in the 400 individual medley at the America East Championships… Also finished fifth in the 1650 free, 14^th in the 500 free, 18^th in the 400 IM and 39^th in the 200 free at the Patriot Invitational… Won the 500 and 1000 freestyles and placed second in the 200 free against in her first collegiate meet… Also won the 1000 against Binghamton and swam season-best times in the 500 free (5:07.64), 1000 free (10:28.64), 1650 free (17:17.95) and 400 IM (4:42.34) at the America East Championships… Her times in the 1000 and 1650 freestyles rank seventh and sixth on the all-time top 10 list.

Background: Attended North Hagerstown H.S. in Hagerstown, Md. where she lettered twice in cross country… Also competed at the Maryland state championships for cross country for two years… Swam for Monocacy Aquatic Club and placed in the top 16 in the 1500-meter freestyle at the 2004 ST Speedo Summer Sectional.
